AI+ has expanded its budget 5G smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the AI+ Nova 2 5G and AI+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G, alongside the AI+ Nova Flip 5G. The two new handsets target different layers of the value segment, but both lean on the same core pitch: large batteries, 5G support, and camera-first marketing in affordable price bands.

What makes this launch notable is that AI+ is not trying to win only on headline pricing. Instead, the brand is spreading its bets across two tiers — one phone for entry-level 5G buyers and another for users who want a more premium display and stronger hardware without stepping too far up the price ladder.

AI+ Nova 2 Series Price in India

The AI+ Nova 2 5G price in India starts at Rs. 8,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 128GB version is priced at Rs. 10,999. The phone will go on sale in India on April 14 at 12 pm IST via Flipkart and will be available in Black, Blue, Green, Pink, and Purple color options.

The AI+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G price in India starts at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 128GB option is priced at Rs. 18,999. The Ultra model is scheduled to go on sale on April 17 at 12 pm IST via Flipkart, and it will be offered in Black, Blue, Green, Purple, and Red shades.

AI+ Nova 2 5G Key Specifications

The standard AI+ Nova 2 5G runs on Android 16-based NxtQ OS and features a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. 

For photography, the Nova 2 5G offers a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging, and AI+ also lists features such as 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, IP64 protection, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

AI+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G Key Specifications

The AI+ Nova 2 Ultra 5G steps up the hardware with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,500 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and comes with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage.

On the camera side, the Ultra model gets a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with a Sony IMX752 sensor and OIS, paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. For selfies, it uses a 13-megapixel front camera, while the battery remains a 6,000mAh unit, this time with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity features on the Ultra include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and the same IP64 rating claimed for the standard model. That gives the Nova 2 Ultra a noticeably more premium positioning within the lineup, especially for buyers who care about display quality and a more rounded hardware package.
