New Delhi, 16 October 2026 — Amazon has launched two new personal AI devices under its Bee brand. The Amazon Bee Frontier costs $74.99 (roughly ₹6,600) and is on sale in the US now. The Bee Eclipse costs $99.99 (roughly ₹8,800) and is “coming soon”. Amazon has not announced India pricing or availability for either device.

Amazon Bee Frontier Price And Availability

The Amazon Bee Frontier is sold on Amazon.com in Onyx, Lavender, and Sage. It is the first new Bee hardware since Amazon acquired the startup. It replaces a predecessor that cost $50, so the price has gone up by about $25.

The Bee Eclipse starts at $99.99 and will come in Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush. Amazon has not given a release date. Indian buyers have no confirmed route to either product, and the closest local option is Plaud, whose Note Pro and NotePin S reached India in August.

Bee Frontier Specifications And Design

The Bee Frontier is a lighter, smaller, and water-resistant take on the original Bee band. You can wear it on the wrist with a silicone strap or clip it to clothing. It has an IP67 rating, dual noise-filtering microphones, and USB Type-C charging. Amazon claims up to seven days of battery life. It has a dedicated mic button and a visible light show when audio is being processed.

The Bee Eclipse is a credit card-sized unit that snaps magnetically onto the back of a phone, which makes it better suited to call capture. Amazon rates its battery at more than 21 days.

What Bee Actually Does

Both devices listen to conversations and turn them into summaries, reminders, to-do lists, and personalized insights. You read these in the Bee mobile and desktop apps. The free tier includes conversation summaries, recaps, and 14 days of memory.

The Bee Pro plan costs $11.99 a month, or $99 a year, with a 30-day free trial for new users. It adds:

👉 Unlimited summaries

👉 Suggested to-dos

👉 Daily memories

👉 A personal chat assistant

👉 Conversation templates

👉 The desktop app

👉 Integrations with Alexa+, Amazon.com and third-party apps

Third-party integrations include Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Health. The Amazon.com link can surface shopping suggestions from items you mention. It is opt-in and needs Bee Pro.

Privacy: What Amazon Says

Amazon says both devices run on “Bee Private Compute”, an isolated environment where “no one, including Amazon” can access your data. Audio is processed in real time and then deleted. Transcripts are encrypted with keys your device creates and controls. Users are prompted to get consent from call participants before a recording starts.

Bee is trained on your own voice at setup. Other speakers are not identified unless they also allow it. You can delete transcripts at any time. These are company claims, and privacy commentators have already questioned how “always -listening” wearables will be used in practice.

How It Compares

Bee undercuts the standalone AI recorders it competes with. TechCrunch notes the Plaud Note costs $159 and the Pocket AI device costs $129, against $74.99 for the Frontier. The catch is that the most useful features sit behind a $12 monthly plan. Engadget’s advice is to wait for full reviews before buying.
