New Delhi, 6 October 2026 — Vivo has refreshed its V-series lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo V80, arriving as the successor to the Vivo V70 that debuted back in February. Unveiled alongside the Vivo X Fold 6 and Vivo S2 FE at the company’s NEXT 2026 event, the Vivo V80 price in India starts at ₹62,999, positioning it squarely in the premium mid-range segment where camera performance and display quality are the primary battlegrounds.
Vivo V80 Price In India And Availability
The Vivo V80 launches in three storage configurations. The base 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹62,999, while the 8GB + 256GB option costs ₹69,999, and the top-end 8GB + 512GB configuration is priced at ₹79,999. The phone comes in three colour options — Stellar Black, Horizon Blue and Sunrise Anthem — and will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the Vivo India e-store starting October 13.
As part of launch offers, buyers can avail a 10 percent instant cashback or a 10 percent exchange bonus on their old device, along with 100GB of complimentary Google One cloud storage bundled at no extra cost — a useful addition given the phone’s heavy focus on high-resolution photography and video capture.

Vivo V80 Specifications: 144Hz Display And Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
The Vivo V80 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 1,260 x 2,750-pixel resolution, translating to a sharp 459 PPI pixel density. The panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate, P3 wide colour gamut coverage, and claims an exceptionally high local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, with high-brightness mode (HBM) rated at 1,800 nits — figures that should make outdoor visibility a non-issue even under direct sunlight.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage depending on the variant chosen. The phone runs Android 17-based OriginOS 7 out of the box, bringing Vivo’s latest software suite and AI-assisted features to the V-series for the first time.

Zeiss-Tuned Triple Camera System
Camera performance is clearly the centrepiece of this launch. The Vivo V80 carries a triple rear camera setup co-developed with Zeiss, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor with autofocus, optical image stabilisation and an f/1.88 aperture. It’s joined by a second 50-megapixel Zeiss night telephoto camera with its own autofocus, OIS and an f/2.65 aperture — a notable addition since dedicated telephoto OIS is uncommon at this price point — alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 115-degree field of view.
Selfies and video calls are handled by a 50-megapixel Zeiss Group Selfie camera featuring autofocus, an f/2.0 aperture and a 92-degree field of view, wide enough to comfortably fit group shots without needing a separate wide-angle front camera.
Battery, Durability And Connectivity
The Vivo V80 is backed by a 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W wired fast charging, giving it a healthy capacity bump over typical mid-range phones in this bracket. The device carries dual IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, a durability tier usually reserved for flagship devices. It measures 157.52 x 74.33 x 7.69mm and weighs 203 grams.
Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port with USB 2.0 support. The phone also includes an infrared blaster for controlling home appliances, an X-axis linear motor for more precise haptic feedback, and the standard sensor suite covering accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, ambient light and an electronic compass.
